Use this screen to prepare and load maps to the handheld. Please note that preparing a map, may take some time.
Before you begin:
•Make sure that the handheld is connected via the USB cable.
•Consider carefully the number of zoom levels you prepare. A large amount of zoom levels will take time to load and decrease performance.
Recommended workflow:
•Select the map type you would like to use on the handheld. If storage capacity is a problem, please note that satellite maps take up more space.
•Map Area: Select the total outline for the map, by dragging the map into position and using the zoom track bar.
•Zoom from: Use the track bar to indicate the first zoom level to be made available on the handheld.
•Zoom to: Use the track bar to indicate the final zoom level to be made available on the handheld.
•Click Transfer map to device when ready.
•Advanced: Click the Advanced check box to manage multiple map types and to remove and change the default map type.
