The synchronization process will load any changes made on the handheld to the Inbox on your desktop plant record system. In addition, the process will fetch the latest changes made on the main database to ensure that the handheld database is up to date.
Before you begin:
•Make sure that the handheld is connected via the USB cable.
Recommended workflow:
The steps listed below can either be started from the inbox screen by clicking Synchronize on the toolbar or by using Floria Mobile Synchronizer.
•Before you start work using the handheld, ensure that your mobile database is up to date by clicking Synchronize.
•If you would like to discard any changes recorded on the handheld, you can select Reset database on handheld.
•When finished work on the handheld, plug in USB cable and click Synchronize.
•If you are not going to use the mobile more that day, select Upload changes to inbox ONLY to speed up the process.
•If you are not synchronizing from the inbox screen, start your desktop system and open the Inbox screen to process the changes.
